At the entrance of “Balıklı”, one of the oldest Armenian cemeteries in Istanbul, on the right side is the Surp Sarkis Chapel, the construction of which was completed in 1985 with the philanthropy of Sarkis Omuzrelioğlu. The architect of the modern-style building is Yetvart Şahbaz.
